Spoke to someone earlier about some of my issues. I’d been feeling kind of “boxed in” since the one person who could help clear it all up, was the one person i didn’t want involved due to knowing in advance what his reaction would be. So I waited and spoke to one of my co-workers, and doing so helped a little. At least I was able to get a non-biased opinion from him that helped me realize I wasn’t crazy.
Pro-tip to all the guys out there:
Do not ever use the same complimentary term to express your opinion of a woman, that you use to express your opinion of your girlfriend. Ever.
Regardless of how differently you meant it won’t matter. Who agrees with your point of view won’t matter. Explaining the difference won’t matter. What other compliments you’ve used toward your gf won’t matter. All that will matter is the appearance that your grouping them together, and heaven help you if she thinks the other woman is ugly. Either kill your opinion in your throat, or develop a more colorful vocabulary of compliments.
This is all doubly true if she has any hungry; vulture-like; a**-sniffing; “guy friends”, who you know are just waiting for the opportunity to take your place. They’ll practically leap at the opportunity that your screw up presents to endear themselves as close as possible to her, while bashing your mistake as hard as possible. It’s not their goal to resolve this, calm her, or placate her. It’s offer themselves as a pleasant alternative while feeding her ire for you. And once that process starts, there’s nothing you can do until everything calms down.
I’m getting the fucking hang of it, son. Fucks withit.
Just so we all remember kids, aiming a gun one handed looks cool, but isn’t very good marksmanship, and will most likely result in losing control of where your aiming. For best aim always use two hands when aiming a gun XD
